Buck Service Available!
We are pleased to announce that our Quillet bucks will be available for buck service this fall!
We currently have 2 mature bucks available to choose from for buck service. We have one buckling who may be mature enough to breed later in the fall. You can learn more about each of the bucks on their individual pages!
Buck service will consist of “driveway breeding” in a private pen, and will not involve overnight boarding of any does on our property (unless specific arrangements have been made otherwise). Bucks will not leave our property. All does must have evidence of negative tests for CAE, CL, and Johnes within the 6 months prior to breeding. We recommend that does be in optimal health, good body condition, and up to date on all vaccines, minerals, and supplements prior to breeding to give them their best chance at a healthy pregnancy.
Buck service will include an MDGA “buck service memo” so that kids resulting from the breeding may be registered in your name.
Buck service rates for Fall 2022 will be $200 for bucks with milk stars and $175 for bucks without.
We are also proud to offer a $25 4-H discount for youth herds.
If a doe does not “settle” after the first breeding, she may be returned for one additional breeding without additional charge.

Soaring Heart’s Dolomite *B - American, 3rd generation. Black with partial white belt and extensive moonspots. Polled. Proven.
Daystar’s Prince Jared *B - American, 4th generation. Black and tan with extensive moonspots, frosted ears and muzzle, blue eyes. Jared is heterozygous for blue eyes, so will throw 50% blue eyed kids. Proven yearling.
Rolling Hills Wells *B - Purebred, 6th generation. Black with extensive moonspots and white overlay.
Will be available for buck service only if he matures enough, and will likely not be available until late fall.
