“Dolomite”
Dolomite was an unexpected addition to our breeding program in 2022. We once again owe our thanks to our good friend Wendy, at Soaring Heart’s Farm, for giving us a heads up about the possibility of bringing Dolomite to the Quillet. Dolomite is a mature son of Hillary, who we were fortunate enough to meet in person in 2022. She is an absolute powerhouse in the udder department. He is also a grandson of Esmee, who we know carries incredible milk genetics and grants an excellent width and stature to her kids. Dolomite is also polled (which we’re told gives him a bit of a wild streak, haha) and wildly spotted. He also has connections to our friend Anna’s Nigerian herd at Camanna’s Petite Paradise. We’re excited to see for ourselves what Dolomite brings to the table!
