“Baby”
Baby is a 2 year old first freshener that we brought in last summer from Windswept Acres in Newberg, OR. She is a gorgeous buckskin with tons of roaning. Baby has a very long bone pattern, depth of body, graceful dairy neck, incredible ears, super dairy skin, and a nice long rump. She also had a very impressive first freshening udder, especially for having only had a single. Her second freshening udder is even more impressive. She has amazing capacity, heavy production, and milks out easily. Her sire is our friend Jeanne Carson’s buck Julian, from Cedar Creek Mini Nubians in Texas. Baby placed 2nd and first udder (after our Poly) out of a very competitive 2 & Under 3 Milkers class at the Oregon State Fair this summer, and shows lots of promise to mature beautifully!
