We bought Irish as a doeling out of Dandelion Meadows Penelope Rose *P, who not only earned her milk star as a first freshener, but also made the 2020 Top 10 list for Mini Nubians. Penelope has connections to the CA Blackberry herd, Echo Hills, and Jeanne Carson’s Inavale goats. Irish’s sire is Quil, who is a Soaring Heart’s buck out of Esmee. Quil also brings in genetics from the well-known Camanna Nigerian herd (Anna is a family friend, so this tidbit is fun for us!), and is also a littermate brother to Polynesia’s sire, Soaring Heart’s Jacob Black.
